Understanding White Wine Blends
White blends can be crisp and dry, aromatic and rounded, or sweet. Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc are a familiar Bordeaux partnership; Rhône blends offer a different palette, and many regions have their own traditions. A blend's name alone cannot tell you its body or sweetness. Use grape information and producer notes to guide the first glass.
