Correspondence and submissions
When you contact us, we receive the name, email address, company details and message you provide. We use them to respond to your enquiry and manage the resulting correspondence. Review submissions include your chosen public name, product, category, notes and score. Approved reviews are public; contact messages are private.
Saved guides and comparisons
Saved guides and your selection of up to three comparison guides are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are not an account and do not sync between devices. You can remove a guide from the saved page, clear your comparison, or clear this site’s browser data. Comparison, pairing and directory filter links include your selected public guides or filters in the address so you can share them. A shared filter link does not include your personal saved list.
Security and hosting
Our hosting provider processes connection information when you visit the site. Submission controls store a one-way keyed hash of the submitting IP address to limit spam. Administration uses an essential session cookie. Contact email notifications, when enabled, pass enquiry details to the publication’s configured inbox.
Retention and requests
We keep correspondence while it is needed to handle the enquiry and its follow-up. You can request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted by contacting us. Include the submission reference where available, but do not send passwords or identity documents.
External links
Links to producers and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Downloading a calendar entry adds a one-time copy to your calendar application. A URL subscription periodically requests our public calendar endpoint through your chosen calendar provider. External release feeds are fetched by our server, not by your browser; visiting an original source takes you to that publisher’s own site.
