Understanding Chilean Pisco
Chilean pisco is produced in the Atacama and Coquimbo regions, often using aromatic Muscat-family grapes. Styles vary with distillation strength, blending and whether the spirit spends time in wood. It has its own production tradition; a Chilean label should be read on its own terms rather than through Peru's style categories.
