Understanding Tokaji
Tokaji identifies wine from Tokaj, not an automatic sweetness level. Dry Furmint offers one entry point; Aszú wines use botrytised berries for concentrated sweet expressions. Szamorodni can be dry or sweet, and Eszencia is another distinct, exceptionally concentrated style. Read the full label before deciding what to expect or how to serve it.
