Understanding Prosecco
Prosecco is a regional wine designation, generally led by the Glera grape. Many sparkling versions gain their bubbles in tank, helping preserve fresh fruit; other expressions exist. DOC and DOCG labels identify different geographical frameworks. Brut is drier than Extra Dry, so read the sweetness term carefully rather than taking its everyday wording literally.
