Understanding Pinot Grigio & Pinot Gris
Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris are the same grape. Many Italian examples are light and crisp, while Alsace and other regions can produce fuller, spicy wines; neither name guarantees a particular style. Some bottles retain sweetness, and skin contact can add colour and grip. Region and producer notes provide the missing context.
